Louis Erard unveils two new colors for the 2340: Mauve & Forest
Louis Erard expands its 2340 line with two new dial executions that demonstrate how a subtle shift in colour and texture can redefine a watch’s entire character. The 2340, named after the postal code of Le Noirmont in the Swiss Jura, marked the brand’s entry into the integrated‑bracelet category when it launched in October 2025. Its architecture remains unchanged: a hybrid titanium and stainless‑steel case, a flowing integrated bracelet, and a slim automatic movement. What changes now is the dial, and with it, the attitude.

The Mauve version introduces a luminous purple surface stamped with an oblong pill pattern. It softens the watch’s lines and adds a gentle rhythm to the dial, giving the piece a more tactile and expressive presence. The Forest version takes the opposite direction, using a deep green dial with horizontally stamped lines to create a more graphic, structured look. Both variations maintain the controlled, deliberate aesthetic that defines the 2340, yet each brings a distinct personality.

The design philosophy behind the 2340 begins with construction. The case and bracelet are conceived as a single flowing form, with polished gadroons along the flanks that visually conceal the connection point. Titanium reduces weight, while polished stainless steel sharpens the outline from bezel to lugs, crown, caseback and centre links. The integrated bracelet, composed of 92 components, uses a five‑link structure that tapers naturally with the profile of the watch. The Sellita SW300‑1 automatic calibre, just 3.60 mm thick, allows the case to remain a slim 8.95 mm, giving the watch a refined, contemporary silhouette that sits lightly on the wrist.
Louis Erard describes the 2340 as “detail driven”, and the new dials reinforce that philosophy. Nothing is loud or accidental. A single design decision—colour and texture—reshapes the entire presence of the watch. Mauve brings softness and volume; Forest brings depth and graphic precision. The foundation stays the same, but the expression changes.
