Louis Moinet presents the new TIME TO RACE watch
Both timepieces encapsulate the brand’s signature blend of high-performance horology and individualized design, with each watch tailored to its owner by a unique “lucky number.” The Rush stands out with a gleaming metallic blue finish, evoking the legacy of racing teams like Ecurie Ecosse whose name is etched into endurance racing history. Meanwhile, the White Fuji dazzles in pristine white accented with red—a nod to Japan’s iconic racing colours and its deep roots in Formula One.
Crafted from ultra-light Grade 5 titanium, each case weighs just 18 grams and features sharp, aerodynamic lines inspired by legendary race cars. A domed sapphire crystal, weighing 15 grams, provides a panoramic view of the meticulously constructed column-wheel chronograph inside. At the heart of each timepiece lies a self-winding mechanical movement comprising over 300 components, with the chronograph function alone accounting for 147 of them. The technical aesthetic is heightened by details like a carbon-fibre base dial, off-centre time display at 6 o’clock, and a tachometric flange. Each watch bears a bold numerical identity—one number per piece—emblazoned within a polished frame reminiscent of an engine cylinder bore.
“The history of automobile racing has forged its share of legends,” notes Jean-Marie Schaller, CEO and Creative Director. “This year, I have chosen to celebrate two new creations… one colour code, one lucky number, a unique piece.”
The Louis Moinet Rush is an electrifying tribute to speed, precision, and the glory of motorsport’s golden eras. Clad in an intense metallic blue that channels the spirit of Ecurie Ecosse’s iconic victories at Le Mans, this chronograph feels like a bolt of adrenaline on the wrist. Its lightweight titanium frame, aerodynamic silhouette, and bold, single-digit “lucky number” imbue the timepiece with the soul of a finely-tuned race car, marrying cutting-edge engineering with nostalgic legacy.
By contrast, the White Fuji celebrates the striking elegance of Japan’s motorsport heritage with a luminous white case accented by vivid red details. This sophisticated colorway pays homage to the Japanese racing livery that once dominated Formula One circuits, while the titanium case and carbon-fibre dial speak to Louis Moinet’s technical mastery. With its off-centered time display and signature number at six o’clock, the White Fuji radiates refined power—where tradition meets trailblazing innovation in horological form.
