CHOPARD x 79th CANNES FILM FESTIVAL – The Red Carpet Collection 2026, “Miracles”
On the occasion of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard reveals its Red Carpet Collection as a precious rendez-vous, a suspended instant where imagination encounters the brilliance of Haute Joaillerie. Conceived through the vision of Caroline Scheufele, the Maison’s Co‑President and Artistic Director, this tradition has forged a close connection with the Cannes Film Festival for nearly twenty years. As an Official Partner of the event, Chopard honours an ongoing dialogue between cinema and exceptional craftsmanship on the Croisette; a salute to creators, to emotion, and to the art of storytelling.
For this new collection, Caroline Scheufele found inspiration in the marvels of life, its mysteries and extraordinary instants that encourage us to view the world differently — “Miracles.” Not those beyond reach, but the simple, joyful ones that enliven everyday moments. These miracles may appear as a uniquely beautiful sky, a cloud whose outline stirs a memory, the delicate opening of a flower in an unexpected shade, the elegance of an animal caught in a spontaneous gesture, or the splendour of a gemstone drawn from the depths of the Earth. Though born from almost nothing, they move us deeply. They remind us that beauty is not confined to grand gestures: it also lies in the subtle ways the world continually surprises us. Caroline Scheufele notes: “Miracles are often discreet: they arise from a detail, a light, an unforeseen emotion. This collection invites us to see them anew”.
The Red Carpet Collection 2026 celebrates enchantments, both modest and magnificent — fleeting sparks that make life feel more expansive, through a sincere and attentive contemplation of jewels imagined as talismans as much as moments of wonder. Through Miracles, the Maison explores visual poetry shaped by nature, its marvels and enigmas, its precious stones and their radiant colours.
Within Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie workshops in Geneva, these inspirations are transformed into singular creations through the expert savoir‑faire of the Maison’s artisans. Each gesture is transmitted with precision, from the first sketched line to the final play of reflections. Jewellers sculpt ethical gold as if it were alive; gemsetters position diamonds, sapphires or tourmalines with endless patience; lapidaries unveil the fire within each stone, awaiting the human hand to awaken it. Each piece demands dozens of hours of work — sometimes far more — for no two miracles are identical: only delicate interpretations elevated by the Maison’s creativity.
The Red Carpet Collection 2026 stands out through its airy silhouettes, sky‑inspired hues shaped by shifting light, and miniature bestiaries that seem animated with their own spirit — a fusion of virtuosity and humility that defines Chopard’s signature. Here, a necklace inspired by the poetic meeting of Earth and sky unfolds in ethical white gold, centred around a majestic 88‑carat Royal Blue sapphire, a profound emblem of the Earth’s secrets. Around this mineral core, fluid rows of sapphires and aquamarines cascade in luminous waves, a celestial energy punctuated by flashes of diamonds. Elsewhere, a phoenix‑shaped brooch honours the miracle of renewal: its blazing plumage in ethical rose gold and titanium intertwines emeralds with multicoloured sapphires in a vibrant swirl, captured mid‑flight.
In a similarly poetic spirit, a carp‑shaped brooch in ethical white gold and titanium conveys the fluid grace of the aquatic realm, its diamond‑ and sapphire‑set scales tracing an undulating, almost breathing movement. Finally, a secret watch shaped like a butterfly resting on a flower embodies one of those quiet, precious miracles: its wing gently closes to hide time, while diamonds and coloured sapphires illuminate the scene, accompanied by a matching brooch.
