Vacheron Constantin expands its Overseas collection with two new editions of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin: one in pink gold paired with a matching pink–gold dial, and the other in white gold, set off by a deep burgundy lacquer dial.

Drawing on the Maison’s signature Maltese-cross motif, the Ultra-thin Overseas fuses athletic flair with understated elegance, while the Ultra-Thin perpetual calendar continues Vacheron Constantin’s storied tradition of slender, highly technical timepieces. Rooted in a spirit of discovery, the Overseas embodies the brand’s worldly outlook, which has defined it since 1755.

On the pink gold model, a blue minute track circles the dial, adding a discreet accent to the monochrome ensemble of its sunburst, satin-finished surface and tone-matched moon-phase. For a sportier look, the gold bracelet can be swapped for a textured blue or white rubber strap. The white gold version plays on contrast: its cool-hued case highlights the rich burgundy of the lacquer dial and moon-phase disc, while crisp white numerals and indices stand out sharply. Interchangeable straps in burgundy or white allow either a deeper tonal match to the dial or a lighter balance with the case and markings.

At the heart of both watches is Manufacture Calibre 1120 QP/1, an ultra-thin self-winding movement just 4.05 mm thick. It integrates a perpetual calendar with moon-phase display—one of watchmaking’s most complex complications, as it must account for varying month lengths and the quadrennial leap day. Like a miniature mechanical computer, it automatically adjusts through 2100 (and only requires a correction for centennial years that are not leap years).

The movement drives day-of-week, date, month and four-year leap-year indications on a 48-month counter, along with hours, minutes and moon phase. It runs at 19,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 40-hour power reserve across its 276 components and 36 jewels.

A transparent sapphire caseback reveals the 22K gold oscillating weight, engraved with a compass-rose motif evoking the Overseas’ travel ethos, along with meticulous haute horlogerie finishing: Côtes de Genève, straight-graining, chamfering and circular-graining. Every visible—and unseen—component benefits from this exacting craftsmanship.

Designed for life on the move, the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin adapts instantly to any setting thanks to its tool-free strap system. Each 41.5 mm case comes with an 18K gold bracelet and two quick-change rubber straps in complementary colors.
