Special Edition of Tag Heuer Monaco
This special edition Monaco, officially known as the “Calibre 02 Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Edition”, will also serve as the official timekeeper of the Grand Prix Monaco Historique.

The original Heuer Monaco was introduced in 1969 as a tribute to the Monaco GP but amazingly, synergies and collaboration between the watch that’s named after the Principality and the Principality itself are actually quite rare. The 12th edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique was cancelled because of Covid, so this partnership will de-facto become effective in 2022, that’s because the event is biannual. The good news is, the watch is going to be available in July.

It is powered by TAG’s Calibre 12 ETA-based movement, with an 80-hour power reserve, and the iconic stainless steel square case (39 mm) is complemented by an unprecedented (never seen before on a Monaco) red and white colour combo, the same as the flag of the Principality, with rhodium-plated radial indexes and red sub-counters. boasts a comfortable 80-hour power reserve. It also comes with a beautiful perforated calfskin leather strap.

The watch is officially going to be launched on July 27th but it is already available for pre-order on TAG’s website. Production is limited to 1,000 pieces only, with a price tag of CHF 6,700 or $6,850.
