The series , which made its debut in 2018 inherits the design essence of the 1975 Professional Diver’s that was nicknamed “Tuna” by watch fans. The se watches feature modern and playful designs that mix the urban feel of Tokyo with safari colors.

Inspired by the original 1975 Seiko diver’s, this new timepiece features the same iconic outer protector, in a more compact design perfect for urban living.

The Prospex Street Series applies its unique approach to the world of Prospex which is in tune with the times. The new series echoes the design of one of Seiko’s innovative professional diver’s watches, the world’s first diver’s watch with a titanium case, but it’s executed in a modern style, with a reinforced case, lightweight yet robust, to be perfectly matched with daily or town use. Using reinforced silicon bands that can withstand harsh operating environments, they are tailored in three fascinating colors.

Aluminum material is adopted to express a more edgy shape The new case design features a three-dimensional form and conveys the pursuit of quality over details.

A leather pattern process is applied to a high-strength silicone accordion strap. It is designed to match equally well in town and the great outdoors.

Each of the four new watches features an outer case protector, which has been the most iconic design of the original watch. SRPE29 and SRPE31 are the first two mechanical watches in this series, equipped with our 4R36 movement. SNJ029 and SNJ031 are the mod ern versions of our Hybrid Diver ’s from 1982 , whic h is also loved by fans and given the nickname Arnie’’. Both analog and digital displays are available.
