Novak Djokovic reconfirms his position as the best player in men’s tennis history with a record victory in the Rod Laver arena in Melbourne.

Novak Djokovic won his 10th Australian Open title in Melbourne, breaking his own record as the most successful male tennis player ever to grace the iconic Rod Laver Arena. The first major victory of the 2023 tennis season, this trophy was also Novak’s Djokovic’s 22nd Grand Slam title, which makes him a real legend! Before lifting the Norman Brooks Challenge Cup, he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in 3 sets, in an epic final, making us all very proud of him.

Every Grand Slam win is special, but this being my 10th here in the great city of Melbourne and my 22nd overall makes it something extra special. It’s not easy to put into words how I feel right now, but I want to thank my team, in particular my family for being with me all the way and coming on this incredible journey. We keep going! I’m excited for what this season holds and for the next major,” Djokovich said.

Djokovic’s high performance is the latest in an era-defining career that has seen him smash records across the sport. As well as having won the Australian Open a record number of times, he has also spent a record 373 weeks as world No.1 and finished the year as the highest ranked player a record seven times. He owns a number of 38 ATP 1000 titles, more than any other player in the history of tennis, reaching a number of 91 career titles. Also, Nole is one of only eight men to have completed the Career Grand Slam, winning each of the four majors at least once, and one of only four to complete the Double Career Grand Slam. He is also the only player in tennis history to have won all four Grand Slams, all nine ATP 1000 titles and the ATP Tour Finals, and he has won them all at least twice, which is an incredible performance.

“There’s no one like Nole! First, unique, different – and the most successful tennis player in men’s tennis history. What a player! On behalf of all your friends at Hublot, I want to congratulate Djokovic on an incredible tournament, on extending your record and on your 22nd Grand Slam. Wow!
