Watches and Wonders Geneva: the 2026 program
From the Salon to the heart of the city, visitors can expect seven days immersed in innovation, craftsmanship, and the creative spirit of the world’s leading watch brands.
Recognized as a key voice in the world of haute horlogerie, our magazine will once again stand proudly on newsstands alongside the industry’s most esteemed publications. Through a blend of thoughtful interviews, comprehensive feature stories, and captivating visual narratives, we will transport our readers straight into the enchanting world of Watches and Wonders 2026. Our coverage will not only showcase the event’s most remarkable moments but also reveal the creative energy that pulses through every hall, every presentation, and every conversation.
A Growing Event, A Broader Experience
This year marks a significant expansion for the event, with 11 new brands joining the lineup and a strengthened In The City program that will transform central Geneva into a vibrant watchmaking playground. Alongside the highly anticipated product launches, the event will welcome over 6,000 retailers, 1,600 international journalists, and nearly 15,000 guests. Last year’s edition drew close to 55,000 visitors from 125 countries, and 2026 is poised to push those boundaries even further.
A City Center Brought to Life—with the Montreux Jazz Festival
Each day of the week has been curated to offer a distinct experience. A brand‑new venue on Quai Général‑Guisan will open as part of an exclusive collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Festival, which will design the musical program for the evenings—an exciting first.
Inspired by the legendary Montreux Jazz Club, the space will blend live performances, intimate artist interactions, and a warm, immersive atmosphere. Open daily from 5 to 11 pm, the 600 m² club will host emerging international musicians, jazz ensembles, and DJ sets. Entry will be open to the public upon registration.
Meanwhile, the Pont de la Machine building will become home to the Watchmaking Village, offering introductory workshops, career insights from the Swiss Watchmaking Industry Employers’ Association (CP), and a variety of horological activities. It will also serve as the departure point for guided tours throughout the city.
Boutiques across Geneva will join the celebration with special animations and presentations, and the iconic Thursday night will once again feature a major lakeside musical event. Even the city’s beloved Flower Clock at the Jardin Anglais will dress in Watches and Wonders colors for the occasion.
Inside the Salon: Innovation and Inspiration
The LAB returns with a redesigned space dedicated to forward‑thinking technologies. From 60 applications, around 15 start‑ups have been selected for their innovation, relevance to watchmaking, sustainability, and social impact—offering a glimpse into the future of the industry.
The partnership with ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne) continues for a third year. Students from the Master of Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship will present immersive installations exploring the concept of time. At the Salon entrance, Le Cadran will welcome visitors with eight benches and four tables arranged around a central clock tower—an inviting space to pause, meet, or simply take in the atmosphere.
The Wake Up! exhibition will guide visitors through the evolution of the alarm clock from the Middle Ages to today. More than 50 historical pieces from the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire de Genève (MAH) will be displayed, including public bells, collective timekeepers, personal watches, and bedside clocks. The exhibition invites reflection on our relationship with time and the act of waking.
