Lifetime Awards Tour de Force – Switzerland, 2022
Now in its ninth edition, this event was represented by a unique and innovative concept in this segment, taking shape through Lifetime Awards Tour 2022.
During this tour, the Lifetime team traveled to Switzerland – the motherland of watches – to personally honor and hand out the Lifetime trophies.
The meetings were attended by Raluca Michailov (Lifetime magazine owner and editor-in-chief) and prominent representatives of the watch brands, in the unique, sophisticated ambiance of the Swiss manufactories.
The feedback we received was positive and overwhelming, with brands responding enthusiastically to the magazine’s initiative.
Thus, no less than 1,300 km were covered and 12 meetings were held to award 12 prizes out of the total 19 prizes of this edition.
This year’s Lifetime Gala was about the value of time, a value that everyone appreciates and feels differently. This concept has been at the heart of the approach to every single meeting we had in Switzerland.
Each meeting was well-appreciated, unique and, above all, inspiring. And it consisted of two special moments: the awarding of the trophy (the ceremony itself), followed by the brand representatives’ answer to the question: “What is the value of time?”
The result was a meaningful one, charged with emotion, knowledge, and new perspectives on this multi-faceted topic.
You can follow the Lifetime team’s journey on our magazine’s Facebook account.

They admired and tried on watches and jewelry. They reviewed and debated the latest news in the industry. And, to everyone’s delight, they all went home with a customized photo frame, on which “the value of time” was beautifully written, live, for each individual guest.
The Lifetime Awards were presented by an international panel of judges, industry experts, individuals and journalists who constantly take the pulse of the industry, people with over 100 years of cumulative experience in the field.
