For the 76th Cannes Festival, held from 16 to 27 May, Caroline Scheufele has designed no less than 76 Haute Joaillerie masterpieces, an array of fascinating works reflecting the boundless curiosity of Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director.
Mingling the Artistic Director’s creativity with age-old jewellery-making expertise passed down from generation to generation in the Chopard workshops, the Red Carpet Collection brings a whole range of emotions to the red carpet.
Annually creating an Haute Joaillerie collection featuring the exact number of jewellery masterpieces matching the latest edition of the Festival represents an incredible challenge that is masterfully met each year by Chopard.
Each piece of jewellery in the Red Carpet Collection thus highlights the talent and expertise of the Maison’s Artisans. To express Caroline Scheufele’s creative spirit, they explore the ultimate in innovation: from employing new materials such as titanium to using novel stone-cutting techniques.
Caroline Scheufele draws inspiration from her travels, which she jots down in her travel diaries. It is the curiosity inherent in her approach to the world that fosters her creativity.
