Frederique Constant presents The Elements Collection – Edition 2026
Frederique Constant presents the new The Elements Collection – 2026 Edition, an exclusive boxed set bringing together three Manufacture creations from the Classic line: the Date Moon Phase, Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar. Each watch is distinguished by a natural stone dial, with onyx, heliotrope and turquoise selected to complement the character of each complication. Because every mineral display is unique in pattern and tone, no two watches are exactly alike. Offered exclusively as a three-piece set, each collection is individually numbered and limited to just 88 examples worldwide. Created as a showcase for some of the Maison’s finest watchmaking expertise and most unusual materials, The Elements Collection has become one of Frederique Constant’s most anticipated annual releases. Produced in highly limited numbers, it combines technical mastery with the distinctive beauty of natural stone, making it a sought-after acquisition for collectors.
The 2026 edition centres on two defining pillars: exceptional minerals and Manufacture movements developed by Frederique Constant. In tribute to the year of the brand’s founding, only 88 complete sets will be produced, each containing three individually numbered watches sharing the same edition number. Every model belongs to the Classic collection and is housed in a polished stainless steel case fitted with a sapphire crystal caseback. Through the display back, owners can admire traditional decorative techniques associated with fine Swiss watchmaking. Inside are three of the company’s most celebrated Manufacture calibres: the Date Moon Phase, Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar, each paired with a carefully chosen mineral dial that reinforces its distinct personality.
Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture & onyx
For the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture, Frederique Constant selected a dial crafted from deep black onyx. The stone evokes the vast darkness of outer space, providing a fitting backdrop for a complication inspired by celestial observation. By combining onyx with a moon phase display, the Maison highlights the centuries-old connection between astronomy and horology. The naturally dark surface also enhances readability, allowing the polished applied markers and central hands to stand out with exceptional clarity. Powering the watch is the in-house FC-716 calibre, offering a 72-hour power reserve and assembled entirely within Frederique Constant’s manufacture. Positioned at 6 o’clock, the moon phase display is framed by the date indication, elegantly linking the two complications. Unlike the standard collection versions, the lunar disc is presented against a glossy black sky scattered with stars, creating a more dramatic visual effect. The watch is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case and completed with a black alligator leather strap.
Classic Tourbillon Manufacture & heliotrope
Limited to only 88 pieces, the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture features a 39 mm steel case paired with a distinctive heliotrope dial. Rarely seen in watchmaking, heliotrope belongs to the oxide mineral family and contains traces of aluminium, iron and potassium. These elements create intricate natural inclusions that vary from black and green tones to occasional flashes of red. The result is a richly textured surface in which every dial possesses its own unique character and visual depth. Matching the rarity of the stone is the Manufacture FC-980 calibre: the tourbillon occupies the spotlight at 6 o’clock, secured beneath a bridge finished with hand-polished bevels. Above it rotates the small seconds hand, while the entire regulating mechanism is individually adjusted and decorated by hand. Each tourbillon carriage carries its own unique numbering on the upper bridge, reinforced by a gold engraving that underlines the individuality of every watch. A brown alligator leather strap completes the design.
Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture & turquoise
The Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture is equipped with Frederique Constant’s Manufacture FC-776 calibre, the brand’s 34th in-house movement. Recent refinements have increased its autonomy to 72 hours, doubling the original power reserve. The movement is housed within a refined 40 mm case and can be admired through a sapphire crystal caseback, where Geneva stripes and perlage decoration showcase the calibre’s finishing. The watch is worn on a navy blue alligator leather strap. To accompany the perpetual calendar display, Frederique Constant selected a vibrant turquoise dial whose luminous colour and subtle texture provide an ideal stage for the watch’s numerous indications. Hours, minutes, day, date, month, leap year cycle and moon phase are arranged in a balanced and highly legible layout, demonstrating the harmonious integration of seven separate functions within a single elegant composition.
